What is Blonde and Blue and where did the inspiration for the business come from?

Blonde and Blue is a boutique interior styling company that offers a wide range of styling services, including but not limited to; general styling consultations, full styling consultations, and product styling and photography, which has been introduced to assist local small businesses in building brand awareness via social media channels, resulting in an increase of product sales.

I began my career (without even knowing it) many years ago (2007 to be precise) by renovating, styling, and improving the market value of my investment properties. After many years of soul searching and whilst I was in the midst of finding and marrying my soul mate, I had received numerous enquiries from family members and friends to access my skills. Therefore, in September 2015 I decided to turn my ultimate passion for design into a thriving and unique styling service which today is known as Blonde and Blue.

What is your ultimate styling tip?
Elegance, simplicity and minimalism NEVER goes out of style!

What item can’t you live without? It’s a blessing and a curse but the item that I cannot live without is by far my mobile phone. It’s my diary, my daily planner, my PA, my marketing tool, my everything really hehehe.

How would you describe your morning ritual? My morning ritual consists of; enjoying a coffee from my local café, The Wolf The Bean The Walnut, reading through the ever so wonderful comments and positive vibes that my followers send me and to each other on Instagram (I can’t stress enough how empowering a single positive comment can be and the joy my heart feels when I see other girl bosses supporting each other), and last but not least being appreciative for the greatest gift life has given me, my husband.

How would you describe your bedtime ritual?

Bedtime? Is there such a thing when you have your own business hehehe. I joke, my bedtime ritual consists of ensuring that all my client correspondence for the day has been attended to and that any planning is complete, as I am incapable of sleep with millions of ideas running through my head.

What is your favourite thing about being at home?

My favourite thing about being at home is being able to be in my pjs whilst admiring my surroundings (after all, I did create what I am looking at hehehe) and/or planning how I can better the styling of my home. My husband will tell you that this is a never ending process and that I purchase something new on a weekly/daily basis.

Which homebodii garment best suits your personality? The homebodii garment that best suits my personality would have to be the ivory slip with the blush lace trim. It’s simple, elegant, and ever so stylish.
