International Women’s Day is always a moment to pause and reflect, on the strength, creativity and resilience of women everywhere. This year felt especially meaningful for us at Homebodii, as we celebrate not only women but also the spirit of momentum and independence symbolised by the Year of the Horse.

In Chinese culture, the horse represents freedom, strength and forward motion. It’s a powerful symbol of women continuing to move confidently toward their goals, building businesses, supporting one another and embracing lives that are both ambitious and beautifully balanced.

It felt only fitting to mark the occasion with a journey that captured that same spirit.

Behind the wheel of a Ferrari, the iconic prancing horse emblem on the bonnet felt like the perfect symbol for the year ahead, bold, fearless and unstoppable. The engine roared to life as the road north unfolded, carrying us along the coast toward the beautiful Halcyon House in Cabarita Beach.

The drive itself became part of the celebration, a reminder that women are claiming spaces that once felt out of reach. Sunlight danced across the water as the Ferrari hugged the curves of the coastal road, the ocean breeze drifting through the open windows.
