Homebodii Bride of the Month: Taylar Landy

A little bit about me..

I am a florist from Brisbane and I love all things flowers of course, I’m 29, I love to spend my days off reading a book or doing something crafty like colouring in. I’m a pastel girly girl and I love my caboodle McNulty

Our approach to planning the wedding was…

keeping it as intimate and chill as possible, no strict schedules for the day, no fancy choreographed first dances, just 1 big sit down dinner and party with our nearest and dearest.

Looking back, we’re so glad that we…

didn’t have a bridal party! It felt so special just having the 2 of us up at the alter.

The most unexpected part of the day was…

how quickly the day passed. Everyone tells you it goes by in a blur, but I didn’t understand it until I lived it. I tried to pause a few times to take it all in.

When I look back now, I feel…

sad that it’s over, but so happy and grateful for what it was. We’ve created the most beautiful memories for life that we can’t wait to share with our future children one day.

My advice to new brides is…

You can get caught up in the stress of the planning and the final weeks leading up to the day. Try to embrace it and take it all in because it goes by in a flash and I promise it all comes together and works out perfectly on the day!

My Homebodii moment was special because…

The beautiful ladies at the Pacific Fair store were so kind and helpful, they made me feel special and ensured that I felt comfortable in my purchase. They took the time to get to know me and made sure that what I wore was a reflection of me and my style. I wore the Viveka lace bodysuit and the Persphone robe! Both so perfect for the morning of whilst getting ready!
