My name is Mariah, and my husband is Matthew. We’re from Toronto, Canada, and always knew we wanted a destination wedding. As a proud Greek and Italian couple, choosing where to celebrate wasn’t easy. Greece and Italy both felt like home in different ways. In the end, Rome captured our hearts. Its timeless beauty, rich history, and undeniable romance made it the perfect place to begin our next chapter together. There truly couldn’t have been a more magical setting to celebrate our love with our closest family and friends.

The overwhelming feeling of love. Seeing everyone we care about in one place, celebrating alongside us, was incredibly emotional and something we’ll carry with us forever.
When I look back now, I feel…
An immense sense of gratitude. It wasn’t just the wedding we had always dreamed of, it was the beginning of our greatest adventure together, surrounded by the people who helped shape our story.
My advice to new brides…
Be present. The little details will fade, but the way you feel on your wedding day will stay with you forever. Soak in every moment.
