Homebodii Bride of the Month: Andrea Sebastianelli

A little bit about me...

My name is Andrea Sebastianelli, and I live in New Jersey with my husband, Kenny, and our two dogs, Luna & Koda. We fell in love in Manhattan, both attending Fordham University and with our first date at Grand Banks, a restaurant boat in Tribeca. Kennys phone and wallet fell off the boat, and he was just smiling ear to ear to be with me. It only made sense for us to get married in New York City, and so we selected the Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers with our ceremony at St. Peter's Church, Roman Catholic, in Tribeca.

Our approach to planning the wedding was...

Piece by piece. We had a lot of help with coordination from Vision Events Co. I led with the creative aspect with my vision of modern elegance, and looking back, I believe I really achieved that.

Looking back on the day, we are so glad that we...

Lived in the moment and stayed present!

The most unexpected part of the day was...

How magical I felt walking down the aisle. It felt like I was entering heaven's gates in a way where everyone turned and looked at me in this gorgeous white church. It was so surreal and breathtaking.

When I look back on the day now, I feel...

So blessed to be surrounded by the most incredible family and friends. It was truly the most perfect day!

A word of advice to new brides would be…

Not to sweat the small stuff. The day is about you and your partner and the love you have for each other- nothing else!

My Homebodii moment was special because…

I got ready in the Helena robe and Olivia slip dress. I felt like a princess getting ready in this outfit, surrounded by my best bridesmaids at the Smyth Hotel in Tribeca. It truly is a morning I will never forget!
