At Home with Homebodii - Jasmine Dowling
Inspired by our love for all things boss women and artistic design, this month’s ‘At home with Homebodii’ features the talented entrepreneur and creative, Jasmine Dowling.
The Brisbane based letterer, graphic designer and blogger, began her commercial work in 2012 doing personal design projects, and projects for clients, turning her love for art and design into a career – goals, am I right?! Working full-time for big name clients like IMG Models, Wittner, Maybelline New York, David Jones, Max & Co, and Hallmark, Jasmine continues to grow as she takes the industry by storm.
Furthering her entrepreneurial journey, Jasmine shares her love for fashion and design through her self-titled blog and social media platforms. Running an online store, producing social content, and working with big-name clients, Jasmine Dowling is a woman on her way to the top, and an inspiration to us at Homebodii.
To top it all off, this month Jasmine was named Cosmo Australia's Creative of the year for 2018! An absolutely well deserved achievement for this talented woman.
Jasmine was kind enough to give us a little insight into the mind of a growing creative. Below are a few questions we asked, and the answers she gave. Enjoy!!

Your style is very beautiful and feminine how do you find inspiration?
I really just am drawn to things that bring me joy and follow that. Whether that is a beautiful full skirt, a certain tone of pink packaging or light filtered through flowers. I try not to force anything and always like things to feel easy and comfortable.
Describe your perfect Sunday morning?
Might just be because we are heading into summer but at the moment it would be great to be by the beach, get up at 6:30 and go for a quick dip in the ocean followed by good coffee & breakfast by the water. Then back home to relax and read some magazines.

Your favourite song that gets you dancing every time!
Probably something old like "All I wanna do" by Sheryl Crow. It is my go-to when I am in the studio alone on a Friday and have too much work to do.
Something we would be surprised to know about you?
I spend most of my time listening to True Crime podcast while I work.
