10 Things To Do The Night Before Your Wedding

The night before your wedding can be one of the most nerve-racking nights of your life - trust us, we understand! From last minute vendor calls, to realising you don't have any bandaids for your wedding shoes, we have got your night covered with a list of 10 things to do the night before your wedding.

1. Take a bath
Taking a bath is guaranteed to bring your stress levels right down! Light a nice candle, pour in 2 cups of epsom bath salts with a few drops of essential oils, and put on a movie. The warm water and epsom salts will loosen your pores and leave your skin feeling soft for the day of your wedding.

2. Make a wedding morning playlist
There's nothing quite like rocking out with your girlfriends on the morning of your wedding! A while ago we posted a blog with the 20 best pre-wedding songs to make your morning even better. Including a mix of nostalgic songs that bring you memories, fun songs that make you want to dance, and songs that you and your girls just love, a wedding morning playlist will add to the fun morning!

3. A gold face mask
After watching all the celebrities use them in preparation for the Met Gala, gold masks seem to have taken over the facial prep world! A sheet mask infused with gold, it is said to hydrate, brighten, and illuminate your face.

4. Treat yourself to a drink (but only 1!)
There's never been anything wrong with treating yourself to a sneaky champagne - and so you should the night before you get married! However, we recommend to only treat yourself to 1 (or 2), as alcohol makes you retain water and bloat. Save your drinking for the next day!

5. Drink a LOT of water
The best thing you can do for your skin is to drink a ton of water. Not only does it nourish the inside of your body and make you feel better, but it helps to make your skin glow on your big day.

6. Pack a clutch of personal items for the day
Mints, bandaids, water, flats (dancing shoes), lipstick, tissues (wipe away those tears!), bobby pins, hair ties, deodorant, aspirin, stain remover ... you name it! You never know what will happen on the day, so it's best to be prepared for anything. Packing your kit the night before ensures that you won't forget anything in the haste of getting ready.

7. Mani pedi and a massage
Now this one is quite obvious, but it's a sure essential! Having pretty nails and feeling relaxed from a massage will make you feel that extra bit special the night before. What woman doesn't feel beautiful with a nice set of nails!

8. Watch something funny
Because what better way to de-stress than watch a funny movie or a chick flick?!

9. Write a letter to your husband
The night before your wedding, you will be feeling a lot of emotions, and it may be hard to share them without tearing up! Consider writing a letter to your husband, telling him how you feel and what you think the wedding will be like. Imagine going through and reading that letter 1 year, 5 years, 10 years after your wedding day!

10. Pack for your honeymoon
Something that may already be done. But the thought of your honeymoon is enough to get you excited and packed!
