As we are nearing R U OK day, Homebodii has invited me to help you, ask yourself that exact question. R U OK?

Questions to rediscover your Sensual Self

1. When you first hear the words “your sensual self,” what comes to mind?

Common Themes: being present/ alive, connected with senses and slowing down.

Example:Being one, being whole, being alive in my senses and surrounding”.

2. When was the last time you felt most connected to your sensual self?

Common Themes: body movement, in stillness, in nature (connecting to sound and sight), sunrise and sunset. 

Example: when I’m traveling—sunset by the ocean, the warm breeze brushing against my skin and the sound of waves”.

3. Describe what (see, smell, taste, hear and feel) most connects you to your sensual self?

Common Themes: simplistic, natural, stimulating.

Examples:

See: Candlelight flickering.

Smell: Fresh rain, fresh flowers.

Taste: Coffee, dark chocolate melting.

Hear: gentle rain, silence of the morning.

Feel: The heat of a sauna, caress of silk.

4. How do you feel when you are connected to your sensual self (emotions, mindset, body)?

Common Themes: A sanctuary, openness, love, peace and freedom. Gentle but strong confident presence of undeniable beauty and elegance.  

Examples:

My body feels like a friend”.

“I feel radiant, soft, and free”.

“I feel expansive and deeply feminine”

5. If you could give your sensual self a name, what would it be and why?

Common Themes: A name that speaks of ease, elegance, confidence and peace.

Examples:

“Aurora”, “her”

“she feels timeless, graceful, and deeply feminine”
