1. What are the key trends you're seeing in bridal hair right now?

Trends I’m seeing right now are polished elegant styles that feel and look timeless. French twists and soft half up styles have been the most popular this year. 

2. How do you help brides choose a hairstyle that suits both their dress and their personal style?

When choosing a style for the big day we look at things like the overall vibe of the wedding, the venue and the style of the dress. I help look through mood boards and design a look together.

3. What advice do you have for brides deciding between wearing their hair up, down, or half-up?

My biggest advice is not to listen to opinions because everyone will have one! Ultimately it’s your style and you need to feel like your most beautiful self on the day. When deciding between styles we look at what works best with your hair type and what style makes you feel most like you.

4. Are there any prep tips you recommend for brides in the lead-up to the big day to ensure their hair looks its best?

In the lead up to the big day I recommend investing in a good shampoo and conditioner to keep your hair healthy and hydrated. Make a plan with your colourist and have regular trims. If wearing hair down, layers will create soft movement through the hair so don’t be afraid to have it cut!

5. What’s your go-to hairstyle for brides getting married outdoors or in warmer climates?

If getting married outside or in a warmer climate it’s really important to consider your hair type. If your hair is prone to frizz or curly, an updo will be much more wearable, slick buns look chic and will last through any weather!

6. How do you create a hairstyle that lasts all day and still looks effortless from morning to night?

Using correct products and tools will ensure your style lasts. Incorporating hair extensions for wavy styles will give you longevity throughout the day. Having your hairstylist on hand for touch ups will ensure you look picture perfect morning until night!
